Find the perfect Freshbox square lid for your container. Compare sizes, fit tips, and decision rules to keep food fresh longer.
Quick answer
Choose a Freshbox square lid that matches your container's exact length and width. Duralex offers blue rectangular lids in 15 cm, 19 cm, and 21 cm sizes, each designed for a specific Freshbox base.
Why matching the exact size matters
A lid that is too small won't seal, letting air in and spoiling food faster. A lid that is too large won't snap on at all. Freshbox lids are made to fit only their corresponding container size, so measuring your box before ordering saves time and frustration.
What about lid color and material?
All three Freshbox square lids come in the same translucent blue plastic. The color is consistent across sizes, so your stack will look uniform. The material is a durable, food-safe plastic that withstands daily fridge and freezer use.
Decision rules for choosing your Freshbox square lid
- Measure your container: Use a ruler to measure the inside length of your Freshbox rectangular container. The lid size must match exactly.
- Select the corresponding lid: Choose the 15 cm lid for small boxes, 19 cm for medium, and 21 cm for large. The lid snaps on tightly only when the size matches. Write the container size on the lid with a label maker for quick identification.
- Check for a secure seal: Press down evenly around all four edges. You should hear a click and feel resistance. If the lid lifts easily, it's the wrong size.
