Discover the Le Gigogne Coffret Cadeau Elysée, a patriotic 3-piece glass set perfect for gifting or collecting Duralex classics.
Quick answer
The Le Gigogne Coffret Cadeau Elysée is a limited-edition 3-pack of 22cl tumblers in French Republic colors, ideal as a gift or a collector's piece for Duralex fans.
Why choose the Elysée edition?
This set revives the classic Gigogne design from 1945, now dressed in blue, white, and red. It's a nostalgic nod to school cafeteria days but with a patriotic twist that makes it stand out from standard clear glass sets.
Trade-offs to consider
The 22cl size is good for water, juice, or small servings, but not for large drinks or cocktails. The set includes three glasses – enough for a small household or a symbolic gift, but not a full dinner service.
How to decide if this gift set is right for you
- Gift for a Duralex fan: If the recipient already loves Duralex or French tableware, this limited edition is a thoughtful, unique present.
- Collector's item: The Elysée design is a special run – great for collectors who want a variant of the classic Gigogne.
- Everyday use?: These are durable, stackable tumblers that can be used daily, but the patriotic colors may not match all table settings. Consider whether the recipient prefers neutral glassware or enjoys themed pieces.
