Quick Answer
Choose the Versailles 26cl set if you prefer a more elegant, colorful design and a secure grip for everyday hot drinks. Choose the COSY 35cl set if you want a larger, more durable borosilicate glass mug that shows off your drink or seasonal decor.
Capacity and Size: 26cl vs 35cl
The most obvious difference between these two Duralex mug sets is capacity. The Versailles holds 26cl, which is ideal for a standard coffee or tea serving. The COSY holds 35cl, giving you room for a larger latte, a generous tea refill, or even a soup on the side.
If you often brew oversized drinks or like to add milk and toppings, the 35cl COSY is more forgiving. For a classic espresso or a standard mug of tea, the 26cl Versailles keeps portions neat and table space tidy.
Design and Material Trade-offs
The Versailles mug stands out with its elegant design and wide handle for a safe, comfortable grip. It comes in nine colors, including transparent, saphir, prune, and rose, so you can match your tableware or kitchen decor.
The COSY mug is made of borosilicate glass, which is more resistant to thermal shock than ordinary glass. Its simple, round transparent look lets the drink shine, and it works well for layering seasonal decorations like coffee beans or citrus slices.
The trade-off: Versailles offers more color variety and a refined aesthetic, while COSY offers superior durability and a minimalist canvas that highlights the contents.
Stacking and Storage
The Versailles mug is stackable, which is a practical plus if your cabinets are tight. The COSY mug does not emphasize stackability, so if space is a priority, the Versailles set may be the better fit.
Consider how you store your mugs. If you like to display them on open shelves, COSY's transparency is a bonus. If you need to pack them away efficiently, Versailles wins.

- Choose Versailles 26cl if...: You want a stackable mug with a wide handle, a more elegant look, and a choice of nine colors to match your kitchen or tableware. Ideal for standard coffee or tea servings and for those who value aesthetic variety and space-saving storage.
