How to Use the Unie 33cl Glass for Large Drinks

Quick answer

The Duralex Unie 33cl glass is a versatile, shatter-resistant tumbler perfect for serving water, cocktails, and beer. Follow these steps to use and care for it properly.

How to use your Unie 33cl glass

1. 1. Fill for the right occasion: Pour water, beer, or a cocktail up to the brim – the 33cl capacity leaves room for ice and garnishes. Avoid overfilling with hot liquids, as tempered glass handles heat but sudden temperature changes can cause stress. Check that your drink is not above 80°C (176°F) before pouring.
2. 2. Serve with confidence: The wide mouth makes it easy to sip or add a straw. Because the glass is shatter-resistant, it’s safe for outdoor dining or parties where glasses might be knocked over. Place a coaster underneath to prevent sliding on wet surfaces.
3. 3. Wash and store properly: Hand wash with mild detergent and a soft sponge, or place on the top rack of the dishwasher (avoid high heat drying cycles). Stacking is possible but place a cloth between glasses to prevent scratches. Do not use abrasive scrubbers; they can dull the glass surface over time.
